Teaching in Thailand

IEP or Intensive English Program is also one of Media Kids’ programs. This program focuses more in four macro skills which are listening, speaking, reading and writing and it includes grammar. IEP meets 3-5 times a week depending on each school’s class scheduling. This program intensively builds and develops student’s skills and abilities to comprehensively understand the English Language. An IEP teacher somehow will still handle some ECD classes and it is still included in a 22-24 hours teaching every week. Also, an IEP teacher must perform the same duty and activities as the ECD teachers which includes the “Building Reader Project”, where in the IEP teacher must encourage the students to read different books provided by Media Kids and let the students enlist new English words and answer given questions.
