Hi, I am looking for a teaching job at the moment, I am currently working in Hong Kong. I have a TESOL 120 hour cert. I do not have a degree. I have my Alevel certificates and NVQ diplomas with me as well as a criminal record check. Should I still apply?

Unfortunately, Thai law requires all teachers to have obtained their university degree before the beginning of their teaching period in Thailand. The university degree is a prerequisite in receiving a work permit from the Thai Immigration Bureau.

My partner is a diving instructor. Do you have opportunities to teach in schools that near the beach so we can both work? |

We do have a few schools close to the beach. However, due to a high demand of teachers wanting to live in such location, we ask that you submit your application early and inform your consultant of your preferred location. We will do the best we can to accommodate you and meet your request, but unfortunately, it is not a guarantee.

Our salary ranges from 32,000 to 35,000 Baht per month. This depends on your experience. This amount may be little comparing to the salary you may receive in your home country. However, please keep in mind that the cost of living in Thailand is very low and this amount will allow you to lead a very nice lifestyle here.

You will need to be a native English speaker, hold a university diploma in any fields, and one year of teaching experience (preferred).

There is no application fee to apply with MediaKids Academy. However, you will be responsible for the cost of your application for a criminal clearance check, request for your university diploma (if you don't have one), and copies of all your documents.
