ABOUT MEDIAKIDS ACADEMY

Teach In Thailand

MediaKids Academy is a Thai run company that organizes a program of English Teaching by Native English speakers for Thai government schools across wwwThailand. To date, almost 120,000 students (over 70 schools) have participated in the MediaKids program. In addition to bringing Native English Speakers to Thai schools, MediaKids also runs a range of supplementary activities, including English camps for schools throughout Thailand. Before they begin teaching prospective teachers undergo a training which includes use of curriculum, lesson planing, class management, school expectation, understanding Thai culture, dealing with culture shock.

Mission Statement
Our goal is to reach smaller communities and schools and make available to them culturally sensitive Native English speakers who will with patience and joy present the English language to them. We aim to teach asic communication and boost the confidence of the student, to enrich lives with language and exposure to different world cultures, ideas and ways to life.

History
In 2001 we expanded this program to schools in the North-eastern area. Over the next 3 years, develop into a more respected and reliable company offering what the schools wanted. During this time, MK also solidified a strong team of Thai nationals with educated backgrounds, good understanding of foreign cultures.In 2004, MK opened a new office in Bangkok. This allowed us to centralize and offer a more convenient ‘home base’ as the company had grown significantly with unchange focus providing areas outside of Bangkok with Native English Speaking Teachers.

At present, Media Kids Academy. has implemented this program in government schools all over Thailand. MK has developed a solid reputation within the Thai public school system.
